People still come up to me when I’m out dj’ing or on the town & tell me that they remember me from this show. Another sold out Sean Healy event. One of my favorite nights to be apart of by far although when I first got there I was kinda fustrated. When I arrived at the Mezzanine there were a group of people setting up some demo on stage. I didn’t know what that was about until I reached the turntables & read the lineup for the night. Before I could dj there would be a demo for some mp3 music program that would take the first thirty minutes of the night. Now that’s not a lot of time but to me it was because there are about five opening acts that perform before the headliner between which I would play music. They were taking my time up. So when I did get my time to shine needless to say I went in because I didn’t know if I would be able to get back the turntables again that night. Needless to say I did lol. That wasn’t even the highlight of the night though. Big Sean was also in town & actually tried to hit up someone I knew in his camp, Zeno, to see if he would do a surprise performance. Zeno replied back if they weren’t gonna pay him to perform it was probably bad but after I played my last set I dipped backstage to see none other than Zeno. Then I saw Big Sean’s dj MoBeatz who greeted me with a handshake. Then in the middle of Wale’s set Big Sean hit’s the stage & they perform their hit single “Slight Work”. Killed it!!
